The super-16mm footage from Dissolution of Bodies came back from the lab a couple of weeks ago, and I have to say, this film will be my best-looking work to date. I have always loved the texture of film, and glad to confirm for myself that it remains the best medium in which to make a movie. Those video proponents can nay-say all they want; film’s the way to go. My editor David Blaikie has the footage now. If all goes well, we’ll have a first cut by July 4th, and a final cut by mid-August. I’ll post a still from the shoot up on this website soon.
